They had been travelling for a little over an hour, the conversation flowing between the two of them as Katy took in the landscape they passed, becoming more and more intrigued with where Shannon was taking her. She had tried to probe him, using all her skills to try and persuade him to indulge her with where they were headed but he wouldn’t budge just telling her to wait and see.

Turning off from the main road Shannon followed the GPS as it marked out the route ahead of them taking them along a small side road further towards the beach. The excitement grew inside Katy as they reached a gated area filled with palm trees and dense foliage.

Stopping the car at the gates Shannon reached out of the window and typed a code into the pad next to him. A moment later the thick wooden gates opened and he drove in.

‘Wow’ Katy exclaimed as they entered the grounds. It was like something out of a 50’s film set. A large beach house covered in bougainvillea and wisteria laid out ahead of them surrounded by lush trees and flowers overlooking out onto the beach below them.

As the car stopped Katy jumped out, walking over to the house and the view below it, taking in the sights and smells of the house and garden she let it fill her heart with joy. She was amazed at how well Shannon knew her, and how he knew this place would affect her, turning she looked at him, his face mirroring hers. Walking over to him her smile widened.

‘Oh my god this is so beautiful’ Her voice filled with happiness as her face lite up.

‘Thank you so much, how the hell did you find time to think of this?’ Grabbing his face she kissed him between smiles.

‘I have my ways little Pixie’ He murmured into her face, letting her continue to plant kisses over his face.

‘I love it, thank you’

‘Thought we deserved a little time to ourselves away from any detractions’ His hands pulling her closer to him loving the feel of her in his arms as he kissed her again. As usual the kiss deepened as Shannon turned her and leaned Katy against the hood of the car whist his hands roamed underneath the back of her top gently caressing the skin of her back letting it shiver at his touch. Lifting her up slightly he placed her on the hood, moving forward as her legs wrapped around his waist locking them together.

They were alone for the first time, knowing that no-one could walk in on them they finally let themselves get lost in their emotions. The first room she entered was a cosy looking lounge, its walls filled with books, each painted in white with large shuttered windows looking out towards the sea.

As she carried on Katy found a guest bedroom in blue and next to it a large bathroom with an enormous tub in the middle surrounded by various bottles of expensive looking lotions and potions. As she reached the end of the corridor Katy walked into he master suite.

The room was filled with freesias filling the air with their soft sweet fragrance. Smiling she leaned forward and took in the scent of her favorite flower. At the end of the room shuttered patio doors lead out towards the garden where the rain carried on outside. Each wall was filled with pieces from the sea be it driftwood or shells bringing apart of the ocean into the room.

‘What do they mean?’ She asked intertwining her fingers in his as her held her close to him.

‘Well the Red one is for Passion, Desire and Respect’ His hand moving from hers and touching the flowers in-front of her.

‘The Burgundy is for Unconscious Beauty’ His lips touching the soft flesh of her check.

‘The White is for Purity and Innocence’

‘The Yellow is for friendship’

‘And the Yellow with a Red Tip is for falling in love’

A single tear escaped as she took in the flowers in-front of her and what they meant.

‘They kinda express what i feel’ He said turning her in his arms, tracing the tears that fell down her face, smiling at her as his eyes met hers.

‘Thank you’ She chocked letting him kiss her. This time the kiss they shared was gentle and filled with the beginnings of love they felt for each other. As the kiss ended Katy’s stomach growled causing the couple to laugh.

‘Why don’t you have a bath while i fix us something to eat’ Shannon smiled at her pulling her along with him as they entered the vast bathroom. Reaching the bath Shannon turned the taps on letting the warm water fill the tub as he poured some of the bath liquid in letting its fragrance fill the room.

‘You’ll smell good enough to eat’ He smiled pulling her to him as he tickled her sides biting her shoulder.
